A friend of mine pointed me to a new service named Calepin that sounds interesting.
Calepin is a hosted blog publishing service that scans one of your Dropbox folders for blog posts written in Markdown files and auto-generates a website. It is similar to jekyll, but has the advantage that that there is zero software to install and the integration with Dropbox. The service is very new (they just launched this week) and appears to be evolving quickly.
